WIHCC is located just 7 miles from the edge of the Navajo Reservation, and 50 miles via interstate highway from Flagstaff, a university town with extensive downhill and cross-country skiing, where many of our staff choose to live. A 10 minute drive or short bike-ride from Winslow takes you to Clear Creek - a deep, translucent canyon creek that cuts through miles of cliffs and offers excellent swimming, rock climbing, canoeing, or just hanging-out.
