Patient advocates provide a wide range of services; all geared toward improving the patient experience. Patient Advocates are available to ensure that the patients' rights are upheld and that care goes as smoothly as possible. Using the services offered by an advocate can reduce patient and family stress, lessen the chance of treatment and billing errors and help foster a greater sense of cooperation between the patient, family, medical professionals and health insurance providers. Patient Advocates wear many hats so to speak.
