Effective Monday August 16, 2021.
Due to the surging numbers of cases, we are re-visiting some of the processes we had implemented through the earlier phases of the pandemic. We realize some of these changes pose inconvenience to our staffs and patients, but we believe they are necessary at this time to help keep everyone safe. We will be back to two car lanes for outside COVID testing and Vaccination administration in Conex stations north of the Wellness Center. Respiratory patient parking will increase to include the area west of the Respiratory Clinic. Patient traffic flow will continue with a one-way entry and exit (see map below). Employee traffic flow will be restricted to the west entrance with employees entering and exiting from said entrance only. Please be mindful of pedestrians when driving through in front of the MOB.
This Respiratory Clinic (RC) has seen steadily increasing numbers of patients as the delta variant spreads in the community, and we will be repurposing the MOB conference room for the triage/staging area for those patients with respiratory illnesses so that they do not overpopulate the general clinic and waiting areas. With this new staging area, patients are not forced to wait in their cars before coming into RC and patients are triaged in a timely matter if they happen to be having respiratory difficulties of which we are not yet aware.
