Imaging using advanced 3D technology
The Orthophos SL 3D takes traditional X-Rays to the next level by using 3D technology for more precise diagnoses and explanations of treatment.
Orthophos SL is capable of take several hundred images with 3D X-ray in just a few second. Using software that generates a 3D image of your jaw, your dentist is able to see an enhanced detail view for additional options for diagnoses and treatment plan came be communicated far more easily with you. With a selection of over 30 colors, the Ambient Light of the Orthophos SL 3D creates a pleasant atmosphere and blends in perfectly with your our modern practice look. |

Services Offered
dental examinations
Dental exams are done on a walk-in basis with limited appointed space. An Exam consists of oral health instructions, X-ray and Oral Exam by a Dentist to determine the specific dental needs for each patient. Patients requiring further treatment are scheduled for follow up appointments.
routine dental care
Routine dental care consists of oral hygiene instructions, cleaning, periodontal treatment, restoration (fillings), oral surgery and endodontics. These services are provided on an appointment basis only. All routine dental care MUST be preceded by an examination.
sealants
Each year the dental staff visits the schools in the service unit area to do sealants for students via the Mobile Dental Van to do Exams and Sealants for students. The student may resume dental care at their respective dental clinic: Winslow, Dilkon, or Leupp. All emergencies will be seen on a walk-in basis only.
responsibility
We are here to assist you in obtaining and maintaining good oral health. It is your responsibility to maintain a healthy mouth by removing plaque from your teeth. Brushing daily with fluoridated toothpaste and a soft bristle toothbrush will clean the plaque form your teeth. The Winslow Oral Health staff will educate you about oral disease prevention and in obtaining a health mouth.
emergencies
Patients with acute pain from their teeth or gums should come to the dental clinic during clinic hours. All emergency patients are worked into the daily schedule as soon as possible. After hours emergency patients should go to the Winslow Indian Health Care Center, Inc. Urgent Care Room for treatment/pain medication.
appointments
Appointments are made by phone or with dental front desk clerk. If you are fifteen (15) minutes late for your appointment, it will be considered broken, please be on time. After three (3) broken appointments, you can be seen only for emergency services on a walk-in basis for 3 months. In case of a cancellation, please call the dental clinic one (1) day in advance. Any cancellation made on the day of an appointment, is considered a broken appointment...NO EXCEPTIONS.
child care
- PARENTS: For your peace of mind & ours, please find a baby sitter for your children (age: 10 & under) during your dental appointment, if you do not have sitter, you will be rescheduled....NO EXCEPTIONS.
- Patients under age 18: Must be accompanied by a parent/guardian to receive dental treatment....NO EXCEPTIONS.
- A notarized consent of minor form is required if the patient is not accompanied by a parent: NO EXCEPTIONS and/or fillings requiring anesthetics will be done....NO EXCEPTIONS.
- If there is any indication of alcohol or substance abuse dental services will not be provided. This will eliminate any complications from dental treatment.
NOTE: WIHCC Dental Department participates in school Externships/Residencies; therefore, a Dental or Hygiene Student may see you for your dental treatment and care.
