JUST MOVE IT 2019
The 22nd Annual JUST MOVE IT schedule is here and available for download. Today, we continue the Just Move It (JMI) season for WIHCC-HIWP! This Run/Walk series is designed to challenge communities to get fit and encourage you to stay healthy. Please join us as we will embark on a 5K FUN run & 3K FUN walk at Tolani Lake, AZ. Incentives for events will be presented. Check schedule for your community and all events will follow Mountain Standard Time (MST).

As we enter into summer, we remind you that temperatures are going to increase and please plan accordingly. Stay safe in the heat during these JMI events by:
- Drink plenty of water before and during the event. Have extra water with you.
- Avoid caffeinated drinks.
- Wear a hat with a brim & light colored clothing. (comfort is the key)
- Wear sunscreen.
The Hozhoogo Iina Wellness Center is encouraging all staff and patients to incorporate yoga into their fitness regimens. Yoga practice is an ideal way to improve the quality of life, as it enhances both the physical and psychological well-being. The purpose of yoga is to enhance and maintain the health of the physical body while creating calmness in the mind, which uses the breath as the link.
At the Hozhoogo Iina Wellness Center we provide yoga to our participants every Wednesday. There are (2) times available each Wednesday, they are 11:30 Chair Yoga (30mins) and 5:15 Yoga (1 hour). Our “FAB-U-LOUS” instructor is Ann Schmidt.
