Testimonials
I enjoyed learning from the videos, the pregnancy handbook and one on one teaching about the benefits of breastfeeding; Along with all the pamphlets available to me. This is my first baby and I was determined to educate myself about the stages of pregnancy and the care of my newborn. It’s important to develop confidence and to be ready for the arrival of a new baby.” |
Breastfeeding Benefits
Breastfeeding is best for your baby, and it's good for your health, too. It's the perfect baby food and contains immunity boosting antibodies and healthy enzymes. Some benefits to breastfeeding are, protects against allergies and eczema, less upset of stomach, diarrhea, contipation over formula, lessens the risk of SIDS and most importantly brings baby close to you. But it's not always easy, at WIHCC we can help you overcome those hurdles and become successful at breastfeeding. For Breastfeeding services stop by Room 215 on the second floor in the old main clinic building or call Noreen Barton for appointment.
